Research & Publishing

Research, especially on “intersectional vegan ethics” and “animals and religion,” places Tapestry at the forefront of delivering vital information for anymal advocacy—public presentations, websites, books, and articles.

Dr. Kemmerer is Tapestry’s force and guiding light for research and writing. Tapestry has published four books in the last four years, and has since published second editions for Animals and Christianity and Vegan Ethics: AMORE. The former is from our Animals and Religion Program and reflects
Tapestry’s Animals and Religion Website; the latter exemplifies Tapestry’s vision and mission in print. Using the acronym AMORE, Vegan Ethics explores interfacing moral concerns quelled by choosing to be vegan—Anymals, Medical, Oppressions (including world hunger and labor concerns alongside common prejudices), Religions, and Earth (or Environment).

Any revenue from the sale of Tapestry books goes directly back to research and writing at Tapestry.
