Tapestry’s Hospitality Challenge exponentially increased vegan options in local eateries. This initiative, designed to be duplicated in any community, is rooted in Tapestry’s interconnected vision of oppressions, drawing on the human values of hospitality and inclusivity—core to business management.
Tapestry’s Hospitality Challenge is a boots-on-the-ground initiative inviting eateries to add, clearly mark, and price vegan options as a matter of hospitality and inclusivity. Roughly 70% of humanity is lactose intolerant, particularly people of Asian, African, South American, and Mediterranean descent. Hospitality and inclusivity require that every menu offer something for these hungry consumers.
