Tapestry in the Field
There is always more need than human will where working with anymals is concerned, even though it is usually humans who cause problems for anymals. Tapestry helps local shelters, rescues, and rehabs to bridge this gap and is currently working with a local wildlife rehab facility, feeding and cleaning up after babies (opossums, rabbits, and squirrels), and tending injured raptors and seabirds.
What causes the most harm to wildlife locally? Autos, cats, and dogs. Please drive slowly and watch for wildlife, and for their sake, and for the sake of wildlife, please do not allow cats or dogs to roam free—especially in the spring and summer.
