Tapestry In the Field

The Hospitality Challenge exponentially increased vegan options in local eateries right off the starting line. This initiative, designed to be duplicated in any community, is rooted in Tapestry’s interconnected vision of oppressions and draws on hospitality and inclusivity—two values that tend to be core to business management—to initiate change for animals (that also helps the planet and human beings).

Tapestry’s Hospitality Challenge asks eateries to mark and price vegan options (and/or to add vegan options) as a matter of hospitality and inclusivity. (For example, about 70% of humanity is lactose intolerant, particularly people of Asian, African, South American, and Mediterranean descent.)

Putting Vegan Food on the Menu
