Aaron Voldman, Effective Student OrganizingAaron Voldman is the National College Director of the Student Peace Alliance-the student movement for a Department of Peace. He is a 19-year-old student at Brandeis University and is from South Burlington, Vermont. At Brandeis, Aaron is studying Peace Conflict and Coexistence Studies, and PPE (Politics, Philosophy, and Economics). Aaron has a strong background in local student organizing. He has founded the local groups Democracy for America-Brandeis, the Nonviolent Student Activism Coalition, and Youth for Democracy. Aaron has also organized at the national level, as the former National Co-Coordinator of Generation DFA (the student group of Democracy for America). Aaron strongly advocates inclusive leadership structures, nonviolent communication, and sociocractic principles throughout his organizing work.
